Network Requirements
This document intends to provide network guidance for Integrators and Networking staff to ensure Evolon products can communicate on a given network or the internet.
Edge (CS+CP)
Evolon Edge is a camera-based application installed directly onto cameras. Edge may communicate to Insites (internet) or locally on a VMS.

Enterprise
Evolon Enterprise is an on-prem appliance that performs Edge analytics and/or AI object classification on camera streams. It will communicate with cameras and VMS, and in the future, directly to Insites.

VMS Plugin
The Evolon VMS plugin sends video alarms directly from the VMS to Evolon Insites for object classification and reporting. The resulting metadata is sent back to the VMS as a validated alarm.
